Some projects go beyond technology, they touch the heart and remind us why we do what we do. For Abhiwan Technology, creating the VR Centenary Museum for the Indian Military Nursing Service (IMNS) was one such proud and emotional journey. It wasn’t just a project about Virtual Reality; it was about honouring 100 years of courage, compassion, and commitment. This collaboration became one of the most meaningful milestones in Abhiwan’s story — blending innovation with patriotism to preserve India’s military legacy for generations to come.

The Vision Behind the Project

In 2025, the Indian Military Nursing Service completed 100 glorious years of service to the nation. From warzones to military hospitals, IMNS nurses have always stood strong, serving with bravery, care, and devotion. For their centenary celebration, IMNS wanted something timeless, a Virtual Reality Museum that could showcase their century-long journey in a modern, immersive way. But there was one major challenge: it had to be built within just 15 days. That’s when they found their ideal technology partner — Abhiwan Technology.

A Message That Changed Everything

One afternoon, Abhiwan Technology received a heartfelt message from the IMNS team through their website. They shared their dream — to bring 100 years of their legacy to life through VR. It wasn’t just a project proposal; it was a call to create something that would preserve history and emotion forever. Even though the timeline was short, our team instantly said “Yes.” For us, this was not just work; it was a chance to serve the nation through innovation.

Turning a Vision into VR Centenary Museum

Once the project began, the Abhiwan office transformed into a creative battlefield. Under the guidance of Co-Founder, Mr. Abhishek Verma, every team member — developers, designers, 3D artists, and testers — worked day and night with a single goal: to create something unforgettable.

We recreated:

  • Historic photos, uniforms, and medals in 3D detail

  • Digital galleries representing each decade of IMNS history

  • Interactive spaces that told stories of courage and care

The goal was not just to let people see history, but to let them feel it. We wanted visitors to walk through time, to experience the bravery, compassion, and strength of IMNS nurses through an immersive digital experience.

When Technology Saluted History

After 15 days of nonstop effort, the VR Centenary Museum – Military Nursing Service 2025 was ready. The inauguration was graced by General Anil Chauhan (CDS), Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, Air Marshal Kavita Sahai, and other senior officers. The most emotional moment, however, came from retired IMNS nurses who had served for decades. Many of them were experiencing Virtual Reality for the first time, and their reactions said it all. There were smiles, tears, and pride as they explored their own history in an entirely new way. They shared how this museum made them relive their memories, from battlefield moments to years of service in hospitals. For the Abhiwan team, that joy was priceless. It reminded us that we hadn’t just built a VR experience, we had built a bridge between technology and emotion.

A Visit That Made Us Proud

The next day, Hon’ble Raksha Rajya Mantri Shri Sanjay Seth visited the museum. Guided by Mr. Abhishek Verma, he explored each gallery and appreciated how technology was used to preserve IMNS history so beautifully. Hearing his encouraging words was a proud moment for every team member. It showed how innovation can become a tribute when guided by the right purpose.

Behind Every Pixel, a Story of Dedication

Creating this VR Museum in 15 days required incredible teamwork. Our dedicated members  Nikki Tyagi, Bijender Singh, Vaishnavi Rawat, Sahil Ahmed, Pulkit Saini, Aman Saxena, Tanish Mandapati, Syed Saquib Abbas, Shivam Pal, and Lokesh Sangwan — gave their best in every design and every line of code. We were supported closely by the IMNS team Brig Kiron Jeet, Lt. Col. Rajusha, Lt. Col. Shakira Banu, Maj. Diva Rovino, Maj. Manpreet, and Capt. Ekta Bhadauriya — who guided us with accurate details and helped us stay true to the IMNS story. It was a collaboration built on trust, respect, and shared pride for India.

A Legacy That Will Live Forever

The VR Centenary Museum – Military Nursing Service 2025 is more than a digital creation. It is a living tribute to the heroes of IMNS and the spirit of India.  For Abhiwan Technology, this project will always remind us that technology has the power to preserve emotion and history when driven by purpose and heart.

  • We didn’t just build a museum.

  • We built a piece of history.

  • We built emotion, pride, and legacy.

  • And above all,

  • We built it for the nation.
